Why is scamming a popular crime on the internet http://www.bizymoms.com/scams/scamming.html
There are several reasons why scamming is a popular crime on the internet. Here is a look at why this is true,- Scammers can reach a large number of people online – The internet is a place where you can connect to millions of people who are online. The internet is very popular among most local and international scammers. Scammers have the advantage to obtain a lot of information about people on the internet.

– Scammers cannot be easily traced – Scammers work online mostly because they are smart enough not to be traced. They work from various locations and even the FBI finds it impossible to trace back to the scammers very easily.

– Global reach – Scammers can work from any country. These scammers can be in China or Africa but they manage to scam you in Australia or the US. There are no restrictions for scammers on the internet. They can be connected globally to anyone and chat to anyone. Scammers use the internet to promote scams on dating sites as well.

– Less restrictions – There is no restrictions at all. Scammers usually work from a very central place and therefore don’t have any restrictions or laws that can restrict them with their fraudulent acts as these scams go unnoticed. Laws are often lenient on money matters and taxes in African countries thereby making it more vulnerable.

– Transfer money without being traced – Online payments are becoming more convenient and less time consuming, to many who use online banking but what these people don’t know is that scammers are out to trick these people by way of a scam to transfer money to them. That’s not all scammers also use various online methods to hack into banking records and use these to scam people and transfer money online without being traced.

– Impossible to find out the truth – Victims are baffled at how scammers get away with crime. These victims are annoyed, angry and worried as to how these scammers obtain personal information and their identities. But as said before there is no such impossible act on the internet.

– Contact details can’t be traced – Scammers provide Po box addresses and number of mobile phones, which cannot be traced easily by the authorities or the victims.

– Scammers can use public property to commit a crime – Most scammers use public cafés to promote their scam and lure unsuspecting victims into going ahead with the scam. Cafés cannot be traced and even if they have, the scammers have long left the café, making it impossible to be traced.

– Scammers can make a fast get away – Scammers using the internet only need to unplug their laptop or flash drive and make a fast getaway if they know the authorities are after them. Some scammers are nabbed in internet cafes promoting scams that are saved on their flash drives. Some of these scammers were caught in the act.

– Scammers can operate from any environment – Be it a crowded room or an isolated restaurant, scammers can adapt to any environment. Their working conditions don’t matter as long as they are successful at getting money from their scam they are less bothered about anything else.

Scammers do work with a very strange state of mind and the more people they manage to scam the higher their confidence levels to carry out more scams on the internet.

The term scamming is slang for defrauding or swindling, and is often used to describe fraudulent Internet business schemes. This type of trickery involves gaining someone else’s possessions or money under false pretenses. While the term is widely used on the Internet, people have been scamming one another in person for hundreds of years. In fact, the elderly have a high risk of being scammed because they are targeted due to their likelihood of having money to spend. Depending on how the scam is undergone, it may be illegal in the country it takes place.

There are thousands of different scams, each one designed to play on a person’s desires, fears, or other emotions. For example, money-making scams promise fast money to solve all a person’s financial woes. A less dramatic scam is one that promises an outcome that seems plausible, like a spray that protects a house roof so that it can last 20 years longer. People are often motivated to make money, save money, or even help relatives in need, but do not pause to investigate the scam because the scammer makes the situation sound urgent. Even if they fall for the scam, sometimes the scammer sticks around to scam again and again.

  1. I don’t think the app has the security code. Maybe if you take it into a Starbucks they can transfer the amount there.

  2. I do that with a Yahoo small business web hosting account.
It provides a MySQL database. I put CGI scripts on the server that the
apps can call to interact with the database.

    • I’m glad yhat you have a successfull ligitimate business online. Would you please tell us more and post your businees link on our site. Thank you, Elizabeth

  3. Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your article seem to be running
off the screen in Internet explorer. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with
browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.

The design look great though! Hope you get the issue solved soon. Cheers
